Your Data Stays Yours
You own everything you create on Yodoo. We never sell your data, and we never use your conversations to train AI models. Delete your account at any time — your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Built with Security in Mind
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Clerk — a dedicated, security-focused identity platform — for authentication. If you bring your own API keys, they are stored only in your browser and never sent to our servers.
Encryption
All communication between your device and Yodoo is protected using HTTPS — the same standard used by banks and major technology companies. Your chat history is encrypted at rest in our database.
Authentication
We use Clerk for secure authentication. Sign in via email (with a one-time code), Google, GitHub, or Apple. No passwords are stored by Yodoo.
Your API Keys
If you use your own API keys for services like OpenAI or Anthropic, those keys are stored locally in your browser only. They are never transmitted to our servers. We cannot access them.
How Your Data Flows
When you send a message on Yodoo:
- Your message is sent securely to Yodoo over an encrypted HTTPS connection
- Yodoo forwards it to the AI model you have chosen (e.g. Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini)
- The AI provider generates a response and returns it to Yodoo
- The response is displayed in your chat and saved to your account — encrypted and accessible only to you
For major AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), their API terms prohibit using your conversations to train their models.

Your Rights
As a UK or EU resident, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Erasure — delete your account and all data at any time
- Portability — request your data in a usable format
- Objection — raise concerns about how we process your data

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Yodoo read my conversations?
No. Your conversations are stored encrypted and are only accessible when you are signed in to your account. Our team does not access your chat content.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Yodoo does not use your conversations to train any AI. For the providers we connect to (such as OpenAI and Anthropic), their API terms also prohibit training on your data.
What happens if I delete my account?
Your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems within 30 days of account deletion.
What if I have a concern or complaint?
Contact us first at support@yodoo.ai. If you remain unsatisfied, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
